On the 23rd of September 2021, begining at 9 a.m. the Faculty of Law, University Goce Delchev – Sthip, will host the MAPS international conference on ‘Outsourcing and Cooperation with Third Countries – Deconstructing the Formal and the Informal in Migration and Asylum Policies’.

The conference is organized within the framework of the project Jean Monnet Networks ‘Migration and Asylum Policies Systems’ – MAPS (www.mapsnetwork.org), led by the University of Naples ‘Orientale’, in which the Faculty of Law, UGD – Shtip participates together with other 9 universities. On the conference issues will be discussed related to externalization of migration and asylum policies and cooperation with third countries, which will be examined both through the prism of the academia and scientific research, and through practice and experts working on the field. During the conference, it will be shown an exhibition of posters on migration and asylum and human rights, prepared by students of the Academy of Fine Arts at the University Goce Delchev – Shitip, elaborated under the mentorship of Jana Jakimovska, and other art pieces will be exhibited from different authors who collaborated with our Macedonian NGO partners. Nonetheless, it will be shown a journalist presentation of the student Ivana Miteva, about the situation in Afghanistan.

The conference will be opened and addressed by the Vice-rector for teaching and students, prof. Mishko Dzidrov, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic in North Macedonia, H.E. Andrea Silvestri and the Representative of the UNCHR in North Macedonia, Monica Sandri.

На 23 септември 2021 г., со почеток во 09.00 часот на Правниот факултет при Универзитетот „Гоце Делчев“ – Штип, ќе се одржи меѓународна конференција на тема ‘Outsourcing and Cooperation with Third Countries – Deconstructing the Formal and the Informal in Migration and Asylum Policies’.

Конференцијата се организира во рамките на проектот Жан Моне за Системи на политики за миграција и азил (МАПС) (www.mapsnetwork.org), во кој Правниот факултет учествува како партнер институција со тим од 5 истражувачи во рамките на факултетот. На конференцијата ќе се дискутираат прашања поврзани со екстернализација и меѓународна соработка со трети земји во делот на миграцијата и азилот, кои ќе бидат разгледани како низ призмата на академското и теориското истражување, така и низ призмата на праксата и чинителите, директно поврзани со теренската работа. Исто така, на конференцијата ќе биде прикажана изложба на дела и на постери од студентите од Ликовната академија при УГД – Штип, но и на други ликовни уметници кои соработувале со наши невладини партнери, и ќе биде прикажан студентски новинарски текст за ситуацијата во Авганистан.

Конференцијата ќе ја отворат проректорот за настава и студенти, проф. д-р Мишко Џидров, Амбасадорот на Република Италија, Н.Е. Андреа Силвестри и преставникот на УНХЦР за Република Северна Македонија, г-ѓа Моника Сандри.
